Who we are
The ACI Ridge app is operated by Ridge Community Cathedral, a branch of Action Chapel International, located at 31 Volta Street, Ridge, Kumasi, Ghana (“we”, “us”, “our”). We are the data controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
This policy applies to the ACI Ridge mobile application and related services (together, the “App”). It works alongside our Terms & Conditions.
Information we collect
We aim to collect only what we need to provide a meaningful devotional experience.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not collect sensitive data beyond what you voluntarily provide.
How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and personalise the App and its devotional features.
- To remember your progress, preferences, and saved content.
- To send notifications you have opted into, such as daily devotions and service reminders.
- To understand how the App is used so we can improve it.
- To protect the security and integrity of the App and to comply with law.
Legal bases
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on: your consent (for example, push notifications and analytics where required); the performance of our agreement with you to provide the App; our legitimate interests in keeping the App secure and improving it; and compliance with legal obligations.
How we share information
We share personal information only as needed to run the App:
- Service providers who host, authenticate, analyse, or deliver the App on our behalf, under appropriate confidentiality obligations.
- Legal & safety — where required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our community.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for their own marketing.
Third-party services & SDKs
The App uses third-party platforms — app distribution (the Apple App Store and Google Play), Sign in with Apple for authentication, push notifications, audio hosting, and crash/analytics tooling. These providers process certain data under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review the policies of any provider whose service you use through the App.
Sign in with Apple
Signing in is handled entirely by Apple. We never see or store your Apple password. Apple gives us a unique identifier for your account, along with your name and an email address. If you choose Apple’s Hide My Email option, the address we receive is a private relay address rather than your real one, and we will only ever see the relay address. Apple’s handling of your sign-in is governed by Apple’s own privacy policy.
Data retention
We keep personal information only for as long as needed to provide the App and for legitimate, legal, or accounting purposes. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it. You can request deletion of your account data at any time (see Your rights).
How we protect your data
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures — such as encryption in transit, access controls, and trusted infrastructure providers — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data and to respond promptly to any incident.
Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Delete your account and associated data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Withdraw consent — for example by turning off notifications in your device settings.
- Portability — receive a copy of certain data in a usable format.

Deleting your account
You may delete your account and its associated data at any time. Email us at hello@aciridge.com from the address linked to your account and we will delete your account data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain certain records.
Children’s privacy
The App is intended for users aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it. Parents and guardians are responsible for any use of the App by minors in their care.
International transfers
Some of our service providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where we transfer data internationally, we take steps to ensure it remains protected in line with this policy and applicable law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the App and the law evolve. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the App. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
